Heather: Managing Director has a degree in Business Studies and having gained valuable experience in various local businesses she established Box-it North Midlands in 2005 with her father Mike and brother Chris. Day to day Heather looks after the operational side of the business and organises drops and pick-ups to suit customer needs as well as all the invoicing. Married to Sean they live on the edge of the farm and have two young children. In her spare time she is a keen dressage rider.
Chris: Operations Director has a degree in Agriculture and manages his arable farm on which Box-it North Midlands is based. He works for Box-it maintaining the IT systems, driving and looking after the confidential shredding. Chris is married with three boys and the family live on site giving added security. On summer evenings or at weekends Chris can be found barefoot water skiing on the River Trent.
Sean: Sales Manager is married to Heather and joined Box-it in January 2016 to look after regional sales and provide customer support. He worked in horseracing for 35 years and rode some winners as a jumps jockey before becoming a race starter for the British Horseracing Authority. He started all the major races in the UK including the Derby, Royal Ascot, Cheltenham Festival and the Grand National. He flies a small aircraft from an airstrip on the farm whenever the weather is favourable.
Mike: Director who has retired from farming and the family garden centre business which was sold in 2010 now finds himself busier than ever. He founded Box-it North Midlands with Heather and Chris and can be called upon during busy periods to do some driving and is always available with sound advice if required. He and his wife also live on the farm estate.
